My research focuses on descriptive, normative, and prescriptive aspects of human judgment, decision making, thinking, and reasoning. My recent work is particularly concerned with expert judgment in the area of intelligence analysis. I'm also interested in studying the social, political, and psychological bases of collective violence and conflict.
